報告摘要:In 1880, G. Stokes conjectured that the free boundary of 2D irrotational water wave has symmetric 120 degree at the stagnation point, which is so-called Stokes conjecture. Varvaruca and Weiss gave a rigorous proof on the Stokes conjecture via a geometric approach in 2010. In this talk, we will introduce the fundamental idea to deal the singularity of the free boundary of the water waves at the degenerate point. Moreover, we will mention our recent results on the singularity analysis on the free boundary of the axially symmetric water wave with general vorticity at the degenerate point.
報告人簡介:杜力力,教授,博士生導師。從事非線性偏微分方程及其應用的研究工作,在高維可壓縮Euler方程組的適定性、Bernoulli型自由邊界問題等研究領域取得了一系列的結果,在Arch. Rational Mech. Anal., Comm. Math. Phys., Tran. AMS., Comm. PDEs,Calculus of Variations and PDEs等國際學術刊物發(fā)表學術論文50余篇。2014年獲四川省杰出青年基金,2016年獲國家優(yōu)秀青年科學基金,2017年入選教育部“長江學者獎勵計劃”青年學者,2018年入選四川省學術和技術帶頭人,2021年獲國家杰出青年科學基金。
