報(bào)告題目:Pattern dynamics in a vegetation-water model with human activities: an optimal control approach
報(bào)告摘要:Desertification in arid regions is usually accompanied by a shift in vegetation patterns. Much effort has been devoted to investigating shifts in vegetation patterns caused by changes in key parameters or parameter space. But little has been done in terms of how to achieve shifts with constant parameter space. To this end, we study the shift in plant patterns caused by human activity using a conventional dryland vegetation-water model integrated with optimal control theory. We found that human action can produce many forms of pattern shifts, such as shifts between stationary patterns, non-stationary patterns, as well as stationary and non-stationary patterns, while maintaining the parameter space constant and the cost low.
報(bào)告人簡介:孫桂全,中北大學(xué)教授,數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)院院長,博士生導(dǎo)師,享受國務(wù)院政府特殊津貼,國家級(jí)領(lǐng)軍人才,國家優(yōu)秀青年科學(xué)基金獲得者,中國數(shù)學(xué)會(huì)生物數(shù)學(xué)專委會(huì)副主任,中國青年科技工作者協(xié)會(huì)理事。主要從事交叉領(lǐng)域的應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)研究,包括生態(tài)斑圖動(dòng)力學(xué)、傳染病傳播動(dòng)力學(xué)和復(fù)雜性科學(xué)等,在Physics Reports、Physics of Life Reviews、J. Differential Equations、SIAM J. Appl. Math.、數(shù)學(xué)年刊B等國內(nèi)外期刊發(fā)表論文60余篇。主持國家重點(diǎn)研發(fā)計(jì)劃1項(xiàng),獲得霍英東教育基金會(huì)青年教師基金,以第1完成人獲得山西省科技獎(jiǎng)一等獎(jiǎng)。
